The software has been designed as general program for security cross platforms functioning all together with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar appearance and functionality on the local and remote workstations. Users watch MPEG coded video and have full control of the software through net that surveillance pc can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular configuration drastically increases reliability because all modules operate as autonomous programs. If one module stops working, other components continue running. For example if the `record` module fails, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video through a `playback` unit. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be turned on by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on apart station through Web interface. The program performs simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
